What Is HUMESOL

HUMESOL is a concentrated liquid plant growth regulator / bio-stimulant comprising humic and fulvic acids. It is formulated to support healthier plant growth by improving soil health, root systems, nutrient uptake, and plant metabolism.

Composition and Formulation

• Active Components:

  • Humic Acid: ~ 18%

  • Fulvic Acid: ~ 1.5%

• Formulation Type:

  • Aqueous concentrated solution (liquid form)

• Source Material:

  • Derived from Leonardite mined in North Dakota, which is naturally rich in humic substances

• Physical Properties:

  • Low salt content; naturally acidic pH (~4-5) which favors nutrient solubility and is suitable for blending/mixing.

Mode of Action

HUMESOL acts on both soil and plant systems in multiple ways:

• Soil Conditioning: Humic substances including humic acid and humins help improve soil structure, increase water-holding capacity, enhance soil aeration and microbial activity.

• Nutrient Bio-availability: Helps to chelate or mobilize nutrients, making them more available to plant roots. The acidic pH helps in solubilizing some nutrients.

• Root & Plant Growth Enhancement: Stimulates root development (longer & more branching roots), improves nutrient uptake, enhancing overall vegetative growth.

• Stress Resistance & Metabolic Improvement: Fulvic acid helps improve plant metabolism and may help plants better cope with environmental stresses (heat, drought, etc.).

Application and Recommended Use

• Suitable For: All crops — food crops, vegetables, fruits, ornamental plants, cash crops, turf, etc.

• Methods of Application:

  • Soil application — broadcast, band, drip methods.

  • Foliar spray — sprayed onto leaves for more direct uptake.

• Dosage:

  • Soil application: ~ 1000 ml per acre

  • Foliar spray: ~ 500 ml per acre

  • Some sources also express per hectare dosages: ~ 2,500 ml/ha for soil; ~ 1,250 ml/ha for foliar though depends on crop type and growth stage.
